High-Efficiency Front Load Washers

High-Efficiency front load washers use about half as much water as the older top-load models. With a front load washer, since the bottom of the washer fills with water before rotating the clothes around, place your heavier soiled items in the washer first, one item at a time, so they won’t tangle, ensuring they’ll have more contact with the water (and potentially laundry soap if you’re not using pods). Keep the overall load loose & not packed in, leaving about 6 inches of space at the top.
